The post is purely contractual and the selected candidate will have no right whatsoever for absorption /regularization in the University. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for developing self instructional study materials for Botany courses for the B.Sc. programme according to the Curriculum of UGC-CBCS. The candidate must have the following qualifications: Ph.D. in Botany as per UGC guidelines and minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience in the relevant field and have some experience in preparing self instructional materials for Open and Distance Learning. Maximum age limit for the above mentioned post is 69 years as on the date of advertisement. The appointment will initially be for a period of six months and may be extended. The remuneration shall be Rs 50,000/ to Rs 70,000/ per month.
