ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research fellow (JRF) in an Indo- Russian International Research Project funded by Department of Science and Technology ( DST, GOI) entitled Dust and magnetic fields in low-mass star-forming molecular clouds. The project work will require astronomical observations from different observatories in India and travel to Russia.

Qualifications: The candidates should have M.Sc. in Physics or other relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks and with NET qualification. With all the conditions remaining the same preference will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Project duration: 2 years

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000 pm + HRA as per rule.

The post is purely temporary and co-terminous with the project

The selected candidate will be encouraged to register for Ph D degree at Assam University, Silchar. Candidates will be notified about the date of personal interview through e-mail. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
