Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow for DST funded project in the Department of Chemistry, Assam University, Silchar

Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow under the supervision of Prof. Paritosh Mondal in the Department of Chemistry, Assam University, Silchar under DST funded project entitled "Quantum chemical studies on structure and reactivity of Ru, Os and Au based anticancer drugs and their interaction with bio-molecules".

Duration of the project: maximum three years.

Essential qualification: M.Sc. with at least 55 % marks in chemistry.

Age limit: Not more than 28 years as on the last date of application.

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA for first two year (JRF) and Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA (SRF) for 3^rd year is applicable only if the candidate is NET/GATE qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs. 14,000/-+ HRA (JRF) for first two year and 16000/- + HRA (SRF) for 3^rd year.
