Notice

Applications are invited for the appointment of Guest Faculty (One) in Economics/Geography in the Institute of Educational Technology & Vocational Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh for the academic session 2018-19.

Qualifications:

(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level in Economics/Geography from an Indian University.

(ii) M.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.

(iii) UGC-NET qualified in Education.

Desirable: (i) Ph.D in Education with Pedagogic specialties.

(ii) Combination of Economics & Geography in B.A. will be preferred.

Note: Those who have done Ph.D prior to 2009 are exempted from UGC-NET

The applications must reach the undersigned by 01.08.2018 up to 12.00 noon giving the following details:

In case the above mentioned documents are not attached then credit will not be given.

The above assignment is on lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1000/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 25,000/- per month. The candidate shall have to undertake that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency and will do the same till they are teaching in the Institute of Educational Technology & Vocational Education as a Guest Faculty.

The candidates who are already availing JRF scholarship in the university are not entitled for the honorarium but they will be issued the experience certificate for the guest faculty.

Interview will be conducted on 03.08.2018 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned.
