This is to bring to your kind notice that two posts of Full Time Medical Officer (on contract basis) are lying vacant at our Institute of Health, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The terms and conditions for filling up of these posts are as below. There is a possibility that the condition of one year of clinical after MBBS experience may be waved off.

You, are therefore, requested to kindly circulate this information for the benefit of all stake-holders.

Two (02) Full-Time Medical Officers (on contract)

Qualifications:-

a) MBBS Degree of an Indian University recognized by the Medical Council of India or any foreign degree recognized as equivalent by the Medical Council of India.

b) The candidate must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.

c) Minimum 01 year clinical experience.

d) Preference will be given to those having experience in Govt./Semi Govt. Hospital.

Terms and conditions:-

1. Salary Rs. 45000/- pm (fixed), likely to be revised.

2. The selected candidates shall have to join the duty within 15 days from the date of the issue of the appointment letter, failing which the offer of the appointment shall automatically stands cancelled and the candidate will have no right to claim it.

3. The appointee shall take full load of the work as prescribed in the duties. In addition, he/she will also be required to discharge the duties as and when required by the competent authorities.

4. Duty hours are adjustable as per the needs of the BGJ Institute of Health

5. 20 days casual leave is available for the service put in for 12 months during the calendar years on proportionate basis.

6. The term of appointment can be terminated in between after giving a notice of one month in case there is no requirement of work or where concerned controlling office has given an adverse report regarding the work and conduct of the employee.

7. Application addressed to Chief Medical Officer, BGJ Institute of Health, Sector-14, Panjab University, Chandigarh on plain paper alongwith self attested copies of education of Qualifications, Medical Registration Certificate, experience certificates etc be submitted in the office of Chief Medical Office, BGJ Institute of Health, Room No. 15, Sector-14, Panjab University, Chandigarh within 15 days from the date of this notice.

8. The candidates will be intimated the date and time of the interview on their mobile phone numbers and on email etc.
