Applications are invited for One (01) position of Research Fellow in the project entitled Forensic Anthropological Provenancing of Human Skeletal Remains Excavated From a Well at Ajnala (Amritsar): Bones, Teeth and Personal Artifacts as Identity Signatures funded by DST-SERB, New Delhi as Core Research Grant (Animal Sciences) for three years.

The date of interview shall be conveyed to the eligible candidates via email. The interview will be held in the office of the Chairperson, Department of Anthropology, Panjab University (Chandigarh). No T.A. & D.A. are permissible for appearing in the interview for the said position of research fellow.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Postgraduate degree in Forensic Sciences or Physical Anthropology (with specialization in Forensic Anthropology) with 55% marks for General category (and 50% in case of SC/ST/PH candidates) from a recognized university/institute.

Desirable Qualifications:

NET qualified

b.

Evidence of any research/teaching work related with forensic anthropological/odontological casework, particularly handling/working with human teeth and bones

FELLOWSHIP:

Rs. 16,000+HRA (presently@20%) per month for initial Two years and Rs 18,000 + HRA (presently @20%) per month for the Third year (as per the grants sanctioned by the funding agency for this post in above said project)
