Applications are invited for two positions of Project Assistant in a multicentric projectentitledAssessment of Government of Indias Gender Mainstreaming Programs for Women in Sciencefor eighteen months under National Science and Technology Management Information System (NSTMIS) scheme of Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. Applications may be submitted on a plain paper along with detailed bio-data and attested copies of certificates and work experience to the undersigned and soft copy may be submitted at maninderkaur@pu.ac.in latest by10thJanuary, 2019. The date of interview shall be conveyed via email to the eligible candidates. The interview will be held in the office of Chairperson, Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (Anthropology) with at least 55% marks for General candidates. (50% in case of SC/ST/PH candidates).

Age : The age of the Project Assistant should be below 40 years.

Desirable: Knowledge about fieldwork and candidate should be willing to conduct independent fieldwork / data collection in various parts of North India .

Fellowship : Rs. 22,000 /- per month consolidated.

No T.A./D.A. is permissible for appearing in the interview.
