Advertisement for the post of Managerunder Cluster Innovation Centre in

Biotechnology (CIC-B)

Applications are invited for one position of Manager (purely on temporary basis) under Cluster Innovation Centre in Biotechnology (CIC-B), Panjab University,Chandigarh. The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year extendablefor another year on

the basis of evaluation after completion of the first year. The post ispurely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the program. There will be no financialliability on the part of the University, after the termination of the program. The incumbent shallhave no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.

Essential Qualifications:

Masters degree MBAor M.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Microbial Biotechnology. Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D. degree. Also candidates with experience will be preferred.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in purchase and accounts for a period of 5 years in a Govt./PSU/Institution/industry

Work Profile: To work under the instructions of the Chief Coordinator. It includes independent handling of office, preparation of reports, managing the logistics of innovation fellows, any kind of collaborators from both industry and academia, organizing workshops/conferences/symposia etc. and managing logistics for the same.

Emoluments: Rupees 50,000 (fixed) per month
