NOTICE

Walk-in-interviews for appointing Guest Faculty to teach Masters in Disaster Management Sem-III and Masters in Remote Sensing & G.I.S. Sem-I for the session 2018-19 for the following subjects (Legal Aspects of Disaster Management-01, Fundamentals of Computer & Computer Programming -01) will be held in the office of the Chairperson, Department of Geography, Panjab University, Chandigarh as per the following schedule:

All the applicants are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents for verification alongwith the duly filled form giving the following details at the time of interview:

1. Name

2. Date of Birth

3. Correspondence Address

4. Contact No./Mobile No. & E-mail I.d.

5. Educational Qualifications (Attach Photocopies of the certificates)

6. Attested photocopy of Degree

7. Teaching Eligibility Certificate

8. Teaching Experience (attach documents)

9. Research Experience (attach details) in the form of publications.

The above assignment is on lecture basis with a token honorarium of Rs. 1000/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 25,000/- per month. The candidate shall have to undertake that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or any financial assistance from any agency and will do the same till they are teaching in the Department of Geography as a Guest Faculty. The candidates who are already availing JRF scholarship in the university are not entitled for the honorarium but they will be issued the experience certificate for the guest faculty.

Minimum qualification for the posts is as per UGC norms.
