Advertisement for the post of Program Manager of SAEN project underBioNEST-PU

Applications are invited for one position of Program Manager (purely on temporary basis) in the project entitled Setting up of Secondary Agriculture/Food Processing Entrepreneurial Network in Punjab Phase-I (SAEN) under BioNEST-Panjab University (BN-PU), Chandigarh. The candidates will be appointed initially for a period of one year extendable for another year on the basis of evaluation after completion of the first year. The post is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. There will be no financial liability on the part of the University, after the termination of the project. The incumbent shall have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/herservices. Name of Position: Program Manager (purely temporary basis) Number of positions:One Essential Qualifications: M.B.A./M.B.E. or M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. in any subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology or any other related area etc., with minimum 55% marks Desirable Qualifications:

Proficiency in MSOffice

Proficiency in English (both spoken as well aswritten) Preference shall be given to candidates with at least one year experience in the relevant work area. Work Profile: To work under the instructions of the Chief Coordinator/ Project Leader. It includes independent handling of office, preparation of reports, managing the logistics of startups and incubatees, networking with collaborators from both industry and academia, organizing workshops/conferences/symposia etc. and managing logistics for the same. Emoluments: Rupees 30,000 (fixed) per month
