Research Assistant and Field investigator positions Available in BITS in IMPRESS Project

Applications are invited for the posts of Research Assistant (RA) and Field investigator (FI) positions in the following project(s) under the supervision of Prof. Anu Gupta, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Pilani. Title of the Project: Crime analysis and study for safe cities with emphasis on women safety using technology and societal participation. The project seeks to conduct a pilot study aimed at measuring and preventing crime against women using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and GIS tools. The project will also develop a website for data storage / analysis & information dissemination and new mobile-based application to assist in prevent crime against women.

Funding Agency: Indian Council of Social Science & Research (ICSSR), New Delhi No. of Post: 1 (each) Essential Qualification: RA---Ph.D./ Post graduate/ graduate in System Software/ Information Technology/ Computer Science / Embedded System/ Microelectronics or related discipline with minimum 55% marks. Any person having degree in social science with experience in website and mobile application development can also apply. FI---Ph.D./M.Phil./ Post graduate/ graduate in System Software/ Information Technology/ Computer Science / Embedded System/ Microelectronics or related discipline with minimum 55% marks.
