Job title: JRF/ Project Associate (Project work into a Ph.D. program)

Title of the project: A study on the energy barrier to buckling in cylindrical shells under axial compression.

Department: Mechanical engineering

Qualification: B-Tech: Mechanical engineering + M-tech: Machine design or related disciplines.

PhD Registration: The selected candidate needs to register for Ph.D. at the institute as per rules and regulations of BITS-Pilani.

Candidate record:

Candidate should have a good academic record. Candidates having good knowledge in Strength of materials, Advanced Strength of Materials, Finite Element Analysis will be given preference. The candidate may have to do experiments and numerical studies as part of the project. Preference will be given to candidates having Gate score.

Job location: Bits Pilani, Goa Campus

Tenure: 36 Months

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 31,000 (1st and 2nd Year), Rs. 35, 000(3rd Year)
