WALKIN INTERVIEW FOR SELECTION TO THE POST OF

RESEARCH NURSE (TEMPORARY)

For a Research Project entitled Mobile Telemedicine Project for Wayanad P-5345

1. Qualification & Experience : (1) BSc Nursing Degree from an Institution recognized by

(Essential) the Nursing Council of India with two years of Clinical

work or two years of Research experience

(2) Willingness to reside in Wayanad District for the

project period.

(3) Willingness to travel extensively, especially in tribal

areas, in Wayanad District during the project period.

(4) Willingness to learn and apply new technologies in

healthcare.

2. Qualification & Experience : Preference will be given to those from Wayanad district.

(Desirable) Prior experience in working with tribes.

Work experience in field studies.

Experience in working in Wayanad district.

3. Age Limit as on 31/01/2018 : 35 Years

4. Number of vacancies : 2 (Two)

5. Consolidated Remuneration : ` 20,000/- p m

6. Tenure of appointment : One Year (Extendable) or till completion of the project,

whichever is earlier.

7. Brief Job Description : In the initial phase nurse will be posted along with the

Consultants in various hospitals in the Wayanad District to get

familiar with their clinical work. Later he/she will be posted

In one of the two tele-medicine vans which in turn will go to

the telemedicine vans, which in turn will go to the

PHC/CHCs on a regular basis. The nurse should help the

Junior Medical Officer to facilitate the history taking,

examination and clinical sample collection of the patient as

per the instruction of the remote consultant, He/she is

entrusted with documentation duties including informed

consent taking. Women candidates are preferred.

8. Nature of appointment : Temporary (Purely on contract basis)
