Applications are invited from eligible candidates for four posts (Full-Time, Contractual) of Consultants in the Discipline of Political Science in School of Social Sciences (SOSS), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068. The positions are initially for a period of six months, extendable further as per requirement of the University. Remuneration and educational qualifications for the post is as given below:

Consultant	Rs. 40,000-60,000	Essential: (i) MA and PhD in Political Science/ International Relations with minimum of 55% marks for general candidates (50% for SC/ST/PH) in MA. Desirable: i) Two years of Teaching/Research experience post-PhD ii) Experience of Course design and development in the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system. iii) Publications

Job Profile: The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of academic programmes in Political Science discipline offered by the University. The job would include writing and editing of course material and assisting the Programme Coordinator in day to day activities related to course development.
