Engagement of Full time Academic Consultant (Japanese Language) the School of Foreign Languages

IGNOU desires to engage a full time Academic Consultant (Japanese Language)in the School of Foreign Languages. The position will be initially for a period of six months and extendable further as per requirement of the University. The nature of work at IGNOU would involve activities pertaining to development and delivery of programme of study material in Teaching Learning of Japanese at the Certificate and Diploma levels. It would include writing and editing course material and preparing Audio/Visual programmes as well as coordinating with study centres and learners. The details of the post are as follows:

Remuneration: Rs.40000-Rs.60000/- PM

Essential Qualifications: Masters degree in Japanese Language with minimum of 55% marks (preferably with NET qualification).

Desirable:Ph.D. as per UGC Guidelines.

Note:

Job Profile: The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of academic programmes in Japanese Language offered by the University. The job would include writing, translating and editing of course material, supervising in printing of study material, conducting interactive counselling through radio & television and assisting the Faculty/Programme Coordinator in day to day activities related to course development.
