An Interview will be conducted at O/o the Professor and Head, Department of Livestock Production Management, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai for appointing contractual Agromet Observer under the

"Gramin Krishi Mausam Sewa (GK.MS)" Scheme, Sponsored by Ministry of Earth Sciences (GOn at Department of Livestock Production Management, Madras Veterinary College, Chemiai. The post is purely on contractual basis and the recruited Observer should not claim any regular employment thereafter.

The service is liable to be terminated any time without assigning any reasons. The service of the Observer so engaged will automatically stand terminated along with closure ofthe scheme. The details ofthe post and its minimum qualifications are as follows

Duties and Responsibilities of Agromet Observer GK.MS

• To Assist the Nodal Officer and Technical Officer for Observing climatic data in the T ANUV AS Observatory at Livestock Farm Complex, Madhavaram Milk colony, Chennai -51 at 7.08 am and 2.08 pm daily without availing any leave.
  
  
• The daily observation to be uploaded Imdagrimet website and download the other data.
  
  
• To assist the Nodal officer and Technical Officer for preparation ofvarious report in the GKMS Scheme and other activities related to the scheme.
  
  
• The Observer should regularly have to take a tour as for the instruction ofNodal Officer in the covered district to collect data among the beneficiary and observer the impact.
