Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati is a Grant-in-Aid Institute of Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India and a unit of Tata Memorial Centre (Mumbai). It is a 260 bedded hospital with state-of-the art facility for treatment of cancer. The Institute also conducts various academic courses and training programme. Approximately 12,000 new cancer patients and 80,000 old cancer patients visit the Institute every year.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from Indian citizens for the following ad-hoc posts at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Regional Cancer Centre, Guwahati-781016, Assam, India.

2	ICU Technician	B.Sc with 55% marks and one year certificate/ diploma course in ICU / Respiratory Therapy Technology. One year work experience as ICU Technician is desirable or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy / or Equivalent with minimum 55% marks in bachelor degree. One year work experience as ICU Technician is desirable OR, B.Sc. with 55% marks and one year work experience as ICU Technician in a reputed hospital is mandatory.	Rs.15,180 per month*	1
3	Physiotherapist	HS Science with Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy of not less than 3 years duration from a recognized board / university / Institute. Minimum 2 years experience in physiotherapy in a recognized hospital / Institute / its equivalent.	Rs.17,790 per month*	1
4	Speech and Swallowing Therapist	Hold a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered with the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board / Council. Experience of working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute hospital setting is desirable.	Rs.17,790 per month*	1
5	Social Investigator	MSW from a recognized university with minimum 2 years working experience in hospital set-up.	Rs. 18,000/- per month*	2
6	Clinical Coordinator	Science Graduate with one year working experience in health related institution. Candidate must have biology as one subject in Class-XII standard.	Rs. 10,000/- per month*	1

*Note : 10% annual increment on salary after satisfactory completion of one year of continuous service.

Candidates with working experience in respective field will be given preference.

Appointment will be made for one year (extendable subject to need and satisfactory performance).

Age : Below 30 years.

The Selection Committee can relax age and experience in suitable cases.

The decision of the Institute as to eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final.

The applicants, who do not have requisite qualifications up to the last date of submission of applications, will not be considered.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Mere fulfilling the minimum educational qualification and experience doesnt bestow right to a candidate to be called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to reject or accept any candidature without assigning any reason thereof.

The Management of Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute will not be responsible for rejection of applications due to late postal delivery or lost in transit.

The list of eligible candidates for appearing in the interview / computer typing test will be published in the website of the Institute http://www.bbcionline.org/advertisement.php on 7th June 2019. Date & time of interview / computer typing test will be published in the website on 11th June 2019 and no separate call letter will be issued to the candidates.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
