Application are invited for the post of a 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) @ fellowship of Rs. 12000/- or SRF (Senior research fellow) @ fellowship Rs. 14000/- +20% HRA in CSIR (Letter No. 38(1414)/16/EMR-II dated17/05/2016) sponsored project entitled Developing efficient consortia of cellulose degrading microbes for sustainable bio-ethanol production from cellulosic material for 11 Month. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should have M.Sc. in /Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Life Science/ Agricultural Microbiology with at least 55% marks and upper age limit 32 years (relaxation 5 years for SC/ST/PH/Female candidate as per Government rule of India). The CSIR/UGC-NET, ICMR, ARS or SLET or GATE Score is necessary for JRF. For SRF post, the candidate should have two-year research experience after M.Sc. degree.

Research experiences in harnessing of microbes from environment samples, cellulose degrading microbes, bioethanol production from agro-residues, microbial diversity analysis, Microbial consortia and molecular biology would be desirable.
