Research Associate (01)

Based on his/ her research experience a particular associate may be placed at one of the 3 pay levels given below depending upon the qualification and experience:

Research Associate-I

(Rs. 36000/-)

Research Associate-II(Rs. 38000/-)

Research Associate-III (Rs. 40000/-)

plus HRA admissible as per ICAR guidelines.

Ph.D. Degree:

PhD degree in any discipline of Veterinary Science / Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry / Life Science.

(OR)

Master Degree:

MVSc/MSc/ M.Tech in Biochemistry/Biotechnology or any branch of Life Sciences having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship /Associateship/ Training/other engagements.

Experience in molecular biology techniques including RT-PCR, gene cloning and mammalian cell culture with analytical skills related to assessment of serological assays and immune response in animal models.

Candidate should preferably have experience of data analysis, handling of analytical equipments & computers.

Mere acquaintance of techniques by attending trainings/workshop/seminar and course work will not be considered. Handling of birds would be an added advantage.

Should have published research paper.

Age limit

The upper age limit as on date of interview shall be 40 years for RA. The relaxation in age in case of SC/ST/ OBC and women candidates is as per rule.

Duration

Until 26th December, 2020 or till the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
