ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar-243122 Walk-In-Interview

A walk-in-interview is scheduled on 29-08-2018 at 11 AM in the Division of biochemistry, IVRI, Izatnagar for engagement of one young professional-II under DBT funded project entitled Role of carbonylated proteins in the virulence of Salmonella

Essential Qualification: postgraduate with life sciences/ graduate in Veterinary Sciences.

Desirable: knowledge of proteomics, genomics, cell culture and animal work.

Project work includes identification of oxidant susceptible proteins, gene deletion mutant construction. Then evaluation of susceptibility of mutants to oxidants, in immune cells and in animals. We would employ a battery of techniques ranging proteomics, genomics to cell biology and live animal studies.

Consolidated emoluments per month: Rs. 25000/-

Age:The minimum age under Young Professional will be 21 years and maximum 45 yearswith relaxation as per rules.

Note:

1. Young Professional-II will be engaged purely on contractual basis for a period of one year, or termination of the project. Project is sanctioned up to July 2020.
   
   
2. Candidates are required to bring his/her full bio-data duly affixed recent passport-size photograph along with photo copies of testimonials/experience etc. However, original documents will also be checked at the time of interview. No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for interview.
