WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Applications in general proforma are invited for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) purely on contractual basis in the DBT funded project "Expression of truncated penicillin binding protein 2a (PBP2a) of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and development of a recombinant PBP2a based agglutination test for detection of MRSA in milk and dairy products". The position is purely temporary in nature and may be terminated at any time in case of unsatisfied performance. There will be no provision for absorption/re-employment in ICAR-IVRI/ DBT after completion of the said project.

Qualifications:

Essential: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with NET or M.V.Sc in Microbiology/ Medicine/Pharmacology/ Public Health/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology.

Desirable qualification: Experience in isolation and characterization of bacteria and molecular works.

Age limit: Maximum 28 years (age relaxation applicable as par rule)

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA
