APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF RA
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of 01 Research Associate (RA) in the Niche Area of Excellence (NAE) Project entitled Nutrition and Gut Health: Probiotics, Prebiotics and Phytogenics as Functional Foods to Augment Gut Health of Dogs funded by ICAR, subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR/IVRI for such engagements. The service of persons so engaged will be co-terminus with termination of the project or earlier without assigning any reasons thereof.

Pattanaik, Principal Scientist & P.I., NAE in Clinical Nutrition, Division of Animal Nutrition, Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar-243 122 (UP). Candidates should specify name of the post applied for (RA/SRF) clearly on top of the envelope and application form, and attend the walk-in-interview along with original certificates on March 23, 2018 at 11.00 AM in Division of Animal Nutrition, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar. The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA, and will have to make their own arrangements for stay etc. for attending the interview.

PhD degree in the discipline of Animal Nutrition / Biochemistry/ Biotechnology OR MVSc or MSc in Animal Nutrition / Biochemistry / Animal Biotechnology having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements |
Experience (preferably in animal nutrition related ICAR/ DBT/DST funded projects) of molecular biology works related to animal nutrition; handling of livestock / pet / laboratory animals; use of analytical equipments like RT-PCR, ELISA and GLC, etc.; proficiency in computer. |
Fixed remuneration per month; with additional HRA as admissible
- 1. The upper age limit as on the date of interview shall be 40 years. A relaxation of 5 years in case of women candidates applicable.
- 2. All applications must include a recent passport size photograph of the candidate and photocopies of certificates/testimonials.
- 3. Candidates should also bring no objection certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed elsewhere.
- 4. Candidates attending the interview must bring complete Biodata in original, thesis dissertation, reprint of published papers and attested photocopies of all educational certificates, mark sheets, degree and testimonials and two passport size photographs.
- 5. Candidates must reach at interview venue on the stipulated date and time. Candidates coming after the specified timing may not be ordinarily entertained
