APPLICATION FOR ENGAGEMENT OF RA/SRF

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the engagement of 01 Research Associate (RA) and 02 Senior Research Fellow (SRF), under Niche Area of Excellence (NAE) Programme, in the Project entitled "Development of stem cell laden nanomaterial scaffold for nerve, bone and cartilage tissue regeneration in animal" funded by ICAR, subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR/IVRI for such engagements. The engagement is purely on temporary/contractual basis, co-terminus with termination of the project or earlier without assigning any reasons thereof. Likely date of project completion is December 2021.

The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA, and will have to make their own arrangements for stay etc. for attending the interview

Research Associate (01) 38000 per month for Master Degree holders. 40000 per month for PhD Degree holders MVSc or MSc in Veterinary Physiology, or Biochemistry or Microbiology, Biotechnology or Animal Science subjects with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ AssociateShip/ Training/Other engagements OR PhD degree in any of the above subjects. Experience in cell culture, Stem cell culture, Molecular Biology work, use of analytical equipment like RT-PCR, Fluorescent Microscope, Handling of livestock/ laboratory animals; proficiency in computer use; published research paper
Senior Research 25000 per month MVSc or MSc in Experience of cell
Fellow (02) for 1st& 2nd year and 28000 per month for 3rd year Veterinary Physiology or Biochemistry or Microbiology, Biotechnology or Animal Science subjects with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidates having culture, stem cell culture, Molecular Biology work, use of analytical equipment like RT-PCR, Fluorescent Microscope, Handling
post graduate degree in of livestock/
Basic Sciences with 3 laboratory animals;

. *Fixed emoluments per month with HRA as admissible Terms and Conditions:

  1. The upper age limit as on the date of interview shall be 40 years for RA and 35 year for SRF. A relaxation of 5 years in case of women candidates is applicable. The age limits are relaxable for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India Norms

  2. Candidate should specify name of the post applied for (RA/SRF) clearly in the application form. Application must include his/her recent coloured passport size photograph, permanent address, contact number, email address and photocopies of certificates/testimonials.

  3. Candidate should also bring no objection certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed elsewhere
