WALK-IN-INTERVIEW A walk-in-interview is scheduled on 02 Jan 2019 at 11.00 am at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru- 560024 (Karnataka) for engagement of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the DST funded research project titled Analysis of host responses to foot-and-mouth disease virus infection in indigenous and crossbred cattle by transcriptome profiling to be carried out at IVRI Bengaluru campus. The position is temporary in nature and purely on contract basis & co-terminus with the project i.e. upto end of October 2021. However it may be terminated at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will be no provision for absorption/re-employment in ICAR-IVRI/DST.

Educational Qualifications: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course. Candidate must have two years of research experience. Examination conducted by various central government departments/agencies like ICAR, CSIR-UGC, ICMR, DAE, DST, DBT, GATE etc are considered as National Eligibility Test (NET). Desirable: Research Experience in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology

Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years for men. However, there is age relaxation of 05 years for Women/SC/ST & 03 years for OBC candidates.

Emoluments: Rs.28000 with HRA as applicable
