Essential:

Doctorate (Ph. D) in Engineering from an approved University.
10 years of experience in Academic (Teaching or Research) in a University or other Institution of Higher Education)/Industry.

Desirable

Exposure in Strategic Management.

Note

Since Functioning of the council is ERP based, preference will given to the persons with qualification in Computer Engineering.
1. Undertaking, Monitoring, Teacher Tanning and Supervising of survey in the various fields of technical education for the purpose of forecasting the needed growth and development in technical education viz Student learning Assessment, Faculty Development Programme.
2. To advise/help/assist in formulation of schemes for promoting the quality of technical education in the Country, and to strengthen the linkages between technical education system and other relevant systems
3. To strategize the planning needs of the organization and to prepare Vision Document.
4. To publicize the new initiatives of AICTE especially in the field of technical education so as to ensure maximum benefits to target audience.
5. Any other duties assigned by the Council.

65 Years

Rs.1.25-1.50 Lakh per month (depending upon the experience consolidated) The consultant will not be eligible for the Govt. accommodation or HRA, CGHS facilities etc.

Selection will be made as per prescribed norms and requirement of the job.
