Hiring and Empanelment of Post-Doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Fellow / Project Assistants under UNEP, Geneva and MOEF&CC, New Delhi Sponsored Projects

Applications are invited from eligible interested candidates for the post of Post-Doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Fellow / Project Assistants under UNEP, Geneva and MOEF&CC, New Delhi Sponsored Projects. As per the CSIR-NEERI guidelines, details of requirements like qualification, age, stipend etc. are given below:

(Chemical/ Environmental engineering) with two years of experience with NET/GATE/any other National level examination qualified with Minimum 55% marks) OR ME/M. Tec can also apply. Research experience related to the Hazardous chemicals/ Persistent Organic Pollutants would be preferred. (Chemical/ Environmental engineering)/ with Minimum 55% marks and two years of experience. Research experience related to the Hazardous chemicals/ Persistent Organic Pollutants would be preferred. 4.	Project Assistant Level- II (1 No.)	30 yrs.	25,000/- per month	M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry B.E/B.Tech (Environmental Engineering/Chemical/Civil) with Minimum 55% marks. #Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women.

The engagement is purely on a temporary basis under the externally funded sponsored projects (sponsored by UNEP, Geneva and MoEF&CC, New Delhi) undertaken by CSIR-NEERI which may be extended or curtailed depending on the status/ duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance/conduct of the Project Staff. It is a placement under the sponsored project and will be co-terminus with the project duration under any circumstance. Maximum duration in one project or in different projects taken together in CSIR shall not be more than five years in any case. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR-NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, on the part of the candidates for regularization/absorption against any post in NEERI/CSIR or under any other scheme of CSIR.

The candidate should, therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and experience in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification, supported with documents and ensure that all details are complete and accurate.

In case candidates are called for the interview, candidates have to bring printed (duly signed by

Candidate) application form supported by self-attested copies of document in support of date of birth, educational qualifications and experience etc. (to be brought at the time of interview only, along with original certificates for verification).

All the shortlisted candidates will be informed by email/mobile and are required to appear for personal interview before the Assessment and Recruitment Committee for Projects (ARCP) on 22nd May, 2019 at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nehru Marg, Nagpur-440 020.

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No Separate interview call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed. Notification is also displayed on the Institute website www.neeri.res.in where from application form can be downloaded. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
