NEEDS EXPERIENCED ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS (CIVIL & ELECTRICAL)

BHEL, Indias Premier Engineering Organization provides world class products and services for the core sectors of Indian economy viz., Power Generation and Transmission, Industry, Transportation, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Defence etc. It has a wide network of 17 Manufacturing Divisions, 4 Power Sector Regional Centres, 8 Service Centres, 15 Regional Offices, 4 Overseas Offices and a large number of Project Sites spread across the Country and abroad.

Project Engineering & Systems Division (PE&SD) caters to the System Engineering & BOP supply requirements for Industrial Sets and Utility Power Plants below 150 MW, all Gas Based CCPPs. The Division has since diversified into providing Fire Protection Systems for all Plants viz., Thermal, Hydro & Industrial Utilities and more recently into Supply(BOP), Erection & Commissioning of Solar PV based Plants, EPC of Municipal Water Sewage Treatment Plants , Smart City Lake Purification Projects. PE&SD is now taking up Railway Electrification Projects on EPC basis. For Railway Electrification Projects on Sections Birlanagar-Etawah, Birlanagar-Etawah (Jhansi division), Bhandai-Udi (Agra division) and Farukhabad-Shikohabad including Mainpuri-Etawah (Allahabad division) located at Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, PE&SD is looking for experienced Engineers and Supervisors in Civil & Electrical disciplines to be engaged purely on Fixed Tenure Basis, as shown below:

**The location of Sites as indicated is tentative and likely to change as per requirement of project. BHEL has the right to post the selected candidate at any Site under the Railway Electrification Projects located in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Desirable: Knowledge of Project execution and basic computer skills.

Minimum of 3 Years post qualification experience (either combined or individually) in any of the following area/s: Essential: Execution of Electrical System works in Railway Electrification Projects/ Metro Rail Corporations/Power Plants/ Refineries or Large Scale Industrial/ Infrastructure Projects. Desirable: Knowledge of Project execution and basic computer skills.

NOTE: Working knowledge in Hindi is desirable.

In case the marks indicated are in CGPA terms, the same will be

multiplied by 10 to convert to percentage of marks

Vacancies reserved for OBC Category are meant only for candidates coming under Non-Creamy Layer. Reservation for EWS candidates shall be done in accordance with Government directives.

Upper Age Limit : 35 years# (As on 01.04.2019)

# In case of candidates with greater experience, age limit will be increased by each additional year of experience (over a minimum experience of 3 years).

Upper Age limit is relaxable by:

3 Years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer)

5 Years for SC/ST candidates

Persons with Disabilities Candidates:

o By 10 years for General

o By 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)

o By 15 years for SC/ST

Relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Govt. Rules.

Reservation for PWD candidates will be in accordance with Government directives.

5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

DETAILS OF REMUNERATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

The candidates selected for the above post will be paid an all-inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration as follows:

Joining T.A:

While joining, the appointee is eligible for Second Class Train fare for self.

Housing/Accommodation:

No housing or Accommodation shall be provided to the appointee as the above mentioned consolidated compensation includes HRA component.

Leave Benefits:

One day paid leave for every 20 days of work in addition to the intervening closed holidays shall be admissible.

SELECTION PROCESS

In case of receipt of more number of eligible applications, the number of candidates to be called for interview will be restricted to 1:10 to the number of vacancies, based on qualifying marks in the relevant qualification of Degree for Engineers (Civil & Electrical) and Diploma for Supervisors (Civil & Electrical). In case the number of eligible applications is less than 1:10 to the number of vacancies, all eligible candidates will be called for the interview.

HEALTH STANDARDS

Applicant should have sound health. Before joining, selected candidates will have to undergo medical examination by the Companys Authorized Medical Officer and the appointment will be subject to meeting the health standards prescribed by the Company. No relaxation in health standards is allowed. The candidates are advised in their own interest to get themselves thoroughly examined by a competent Medical Officer before applying against the advertisement.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Filling up Online Application:

Candidates are advised to keep their certificates/ documents ready while filling up Online Application:

Fill every section (Personal details, Education Qualification details, etc.) of Online Application Form. Filling of the fields, marked (*) are mandatory. After completing the Online Application Form, click on SUBMIT button. The application will be submitted and an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NUMBER will be generated. This number is important as this will be required to LOGIN for completing the remaining steps of the Online Application. Category such as OBC, SC, ST & EWSs should be carefully filled-up in the online application format as this will not be allowed to be changed at a later date. Similarly marks filled in the online application cannot be changed after submission of the online application.

Step 2: Uploading of Scanned images & documents:

1. Applicable documents pertaining to the applicant must be uploaded.

2. Uploading of Blurred/edited images/incorrect documents will lead to

disqualification of the candidature.

Uploading of documents depends on the Internet connectivity. In case of failures, try uploading again until a GREEN TICK appears against the document, on the Screen.

3. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC Non-creamy layer), If applicable.

4. Self-undertaking in the prescribed format by OBC candidates belonging to Non-

7. Degree/Post Graduate Degree and/or Diploma certificate along with mark

8. Medical Certificate issued by the Medical Board (for Persons with Disabilities candidates only).

9. Discharge certificates (Ex-servicemen only).

10. Domicile certificate (J&K Candidates only).

11. Documents in support of duration of work experience:

a) Joining Relieving Letter from Company/Organization.

b) Experience/Service certificate issued by Company/Organization

(Experience Certificate produced should clearly indicate date of joining and date of relieving from each organization where worked)

c) Salary certificate together with ITR or Form-16 issued by the present/past employer(s).

Step 3: Payment of Processing Fee:

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) is payable by the Unreserved, OBC and EWS candidates.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, Ex Servicemen and Persons with disabilities are exempted from paying the Processing Fee.

Other candidates are required to make payment of processing fee through online payment using Net banking/Debit card/Credit card/Wallet.

Only on successful completion of remittance of fee where applicable the process of submission of Application can be considered as completed.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the position.

The posts are purely temporary in nature and are only against requirement for Engineers & Supervisors for the Railway Electrification Project Sites mentioned in the advertisement and would cease to exist after 600 days of joining or once the identified work of the Project is over, whichever is earlier. The engagement will be only on Fixed Tenure Basis for the period notified herein. Selection of candidates on Fixed Tenure Basis for the identified work of the notified project is not against any permanent vacancy and shall not entitle selected candidates to any claim for regular/permanent employment in BHEL during the period of their engagement and/or anytime in future.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Persons with Disability/Ex-Servicemen category should upload self-attested copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority to that effect. OBC candidates are required to upload Other Backward Class Certificate (Non-Creamy Layer) (Certificate in the format as applicable for appointment to posts under Government of India) issued on or after 01/04/2018. OBC candidates are also required to upload a self-undertaking that they belong to the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer). The OBC candidates who do not belong to Non-Creamy Layer should indicate their category as General only.

Candidates applying under EWSs category should fulfil the conditions stipulated for applying under Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) in civil posts and services in Government of India issued vide DoPT OM dt.19.01.2019. Such candidates should upload the requisite certificate certifying their Income and Asset of the family in the prescribed format (as available in our website), from an Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar, along with their online application.

Reservation for Persons with Disabilities candidates and Ex-servicemen will be in accordance with Government directives. As the same is on horizontal basis, the vacancies will be filled and adjusted in the appropriate category viz. UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS.

Outstation candidates shortlisted for Interview will be reimbursed to and fro Second Class Train fare from the mailing address or the starting station, whichever is nearer to the place of interview by the shortest route, on production of proof of journey.

Mere fulfilment of the job specification will not entitle a candidate to be called for Interview. Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post for which they have applied.
