ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE TEMPORARY POST OF RA IN ECE DEPT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary position of Research Associate (RA) post for IMPRINT II sponsored research project titled Design and development of a dual band RF Energy Harvester for Wireless Sensor Networks using Aerosol Jetting Technology in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Essential qualification: Ph.D with B. E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M. E/ M. Tech or Equivalent in Electronics and
Communication Engineering (Specialization in Communication
Engineering/RF and Microwave Engineering/ Antenna Design)
with minimum of 65% marks or 7.5 CGPA from recognized
University/ Institute
(or)
M. E/ M. Tech or Equivalent in Electronics and Communication
Engineering (Communication Engineering/RF and Microwave
Engineering/ Antenna Design) with minimum of 65% marks or 7.5
CGPA from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 3
years of research, teaching and design and development experience
after ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science
Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Salary (Consolidate): Rs. 36,000 per month + HRA for initial One year, Rs. 38,000 per month + HRA for second Year, Rs. 40,000 per month+ HRA for Third Year

Duration of Project: 3 years

Tenure of Assignment: 1 year, extendable further two more years till the completion of Project based on performance

Job Description: 1. Purchase of equipment and components for the project

Additional Information:

  1. Simulation, Fabrication, Experimental verification and implementation of the RF energy Harvester.

  2. Documentation of the results.

  1. Selected candidates with ME/ M.Tech qualification will be encouraged to register Ph.D. programme as per NIT Trichy regulations in the upcoming academic session.

  2. Preference will be given to the candidate who is having good academic record, research potential and relevant experience
