Applications are invited from motivated and eligible Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-DST sponsored research project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, Jamshedpur, India as per the details mentioned below.

M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in Machine Design), Civil Engineering (with specialization in Structural Engineering)Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering (with specialization in Structures /Composites), Applied Mechanics (with specialization in Engineering Mechanics/Solid Mechanics, Design Engineering) from an affiliated university/institute with at least 60% marks or equivalent obtained. Candidate having good academic background and research in experience in computational structural mechanics as well as preliminary knowledge of computer programming using MATLAB will be preferred. Not more than 28 Years. Age relaxation will be provided as per DST-SERB, GoI norms.

Benefits of joining: Candidate selected for this position may register for the regular Ph.D. program provided he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria for Ph.D. program in NIT Jamshedpur.
