Applications are invited for the post (1 No.) of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on DST-SERB funded research project (ECR/2018/001917).

Title of the Project: Experimental Investigations and Numerical Assessment of Renal Calculi (Kidney Stone) and its Management

Duration of the project: 3 Years

Essential Qualification: B.Tech/ B.E. in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology AND M.Tech/ M.E. in Chemical Engineering and allied disciplines.

Students who are in the final year of MTech/M.E. and expect to finish their degree requirements by June, 2019 are also eligible to apply.

Knowledge of computational tools like MATLAB, population balance equation, particle sizing techniques and crystallization will be an added advantage and considered positively.

GATE qualification is desirable.

Emoluments: Rs 31,000 p.m. (consolidated) as sanctioned by DST-SERB

Note: The post is purely temporary in nature. The initial appointment is for 6 months with a provision to extend every six months subject to satisfactory performance, till the completion of project and with approval of Director, VNIT.
