Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-DST sponsored research project in the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, Jamshedpur, India as per the details mentioned below.

Duration	03 Years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on the satisfactory performance of the JRF and possible extension of the project
Fellowship	Rs. 25,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month for the third year.

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification	M.Sc. in Mathema
Desirable	Candidates with sound knowledge of Ordinary & Partial Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis and Fluid Dynamics as well as knowledge in mathematical software such as MATLAB will be preferred.
Age Limit	Not more than 28 Years. Age relaxation will be provided as per DST-SERB, GoI norms.

Benefits of joining: Candidate selected for this position may register for the regular Ph.D. program provided he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria for Ph.D. program in NIT Jamshedpur.
