ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF PROJECT STAFF

Applications are invited from interested candidates for the post of Project staff (1 No.) under Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India funded research project titled Analytical and numerical investigations of mixed convection through wire mesh porous structure filled in a channel. The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis coterminus with the project. The contractual period is subjected to renewal for every year. The candidate is encouraged to apply for Ph.D at NITK. Interested candidates should fill their academic and personal details in the prescribed application format and send the same along with attested copies of relevant certificates within 30 days from the date of advertisement to the contact person. Only the shortlisted candidates will be informed by post/E-mail/Phone. Shortlisted candidates should report to the contact person for certificate verification followed by technical written test and technical interview. Interview is most likely to be held during the month of May. Any change in the date of interview will be intimated through email. Selection will be based on qualification, experience, written test and interview performance. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the written test and interview. NITK Surathkal reserves the right to reject any or all the application without assigning any reasons thereof.

Desired: Knowledge of ANSYS and FLUENT Packages and Programming Skills (C-Programming/MATLAB/COMSOL Multiphysics) for heat transfer problems. [Candidate on the verge of completing their degree may also apply] 01 Rs.25,000/-per month during first year Rs.25,000/-per month during second year Rs.28,000/-per month during third year Note: Revised fellowship may be applicable as per DST norms with approval of concerned authority. Renewable every year up to maximum for 3 Years
