Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow under Department of Science and Technology -Science and Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) Early Career Research (ECR) Award, Govt. of India, sponsored Project entitled An Effective Predictive Torque Controlled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drive for a Photo-Voltaic based Hybrid Electric Vehicle with Reduced CO2 Emissions. The Project Duration is 3 years.

Details of Qualifications, Emoluments and Duration are given below:

Eligibility First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in B.Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering and First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in M.Tech in the specializations of Electrical Drives and Control/ Power Electronics / Industrial Drive and Control. The candidate must have M.Tech through GATE (or) a valid GATE score.
Duration 3 Years
Consolidated Salary Rs. 31,000/pm for first 2 years and 35,000/pm for third year. HRA as per institute rules The selected candidate is also eligible for on campus Hostel & Mess facilities at their own expenses.
Other Benefits The selected candidate is eligible to register for PhD degree at NIT, Warangal as per institute rules.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates will be selected through written test and/or interview. The shortlisted candidates, written test/interview date will be given on the website www.nitw.ac.in.

Note:

Candidates who are already employed should produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer and students should provide provisional degree certificate or its equivalent at the time of interview. The selected candidate is expected to produce a Relieving Certificate from their employer or provisional degree certificate in case of students and join the duties within a week after intimation of their selection else it would be offered to a candidate in waiting list.
