ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE TEMPORARY POST OF JRF IN ECE DEPT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post for IMPRINT II sponsored research project titled Development of Dense Deployable Massive MIMO antenna system for 5G wireless communications with reduced correlation/ mutual coupling in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Essential qualification:	B. E/ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication
	Engineering and M. E/ M. Tech or Equivalent in Electronics and
	Communication Engineering (Specialization in Communication
	Engineering/RF and Microwave Engineering/ Antenna Design)
	with minimum of 65% marks or 7.5 CGPA from recognized
	University/ Institute
Salary (Consolidate):	Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA for the initial two years, Rs. 28,600 per
	month + HRA for Third Year (likely to be revised as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018)
Duration of Project:	3 years
Tenure of Assignment:	1 year, extendable further two more years till the completion of
Job Description:	Project based on performance
	1. Purchase of equipment and components for the project

2. Simulation, Fabrication, Experimental verification and implementation of the Massive MIMO Antenna.

3. Documentation of the results.

Additional Information: 1. Selected candidates with ME/ M.Tech qualification will be encouraged to register Ph.D. programme as per NIT Trichy regulations in the upcoming academic session.

2. Preference will be given to the candidate who is having good academic record, research potential and relevant experience. Candidates with a valid GATE score will be given preference.
