Applications are invited for a project associate at IIT Gandhinagar in connection with DST Nanomission sponsored project "Zero-Carbon Solar-powered Hydrogen Production via Plasmonic Nanoantenna Enhanced Photocatalytic Water-splitting". The candidate must have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Physics, electrical engineering, nanotechnology or equivalent with good academic performance. The position is available for 6 months but can be extended upon good performance. The consolidated salary for the project associate post will be 20,000 pm/-.

Required qualifications 1) Coursework in electromagnetic waves, optics, quantum mechanics and Condensed matter Physics. 2) Experience in electromagnetic solvers like CST MWS, Comsol etc. 2) NET/GATE Qualification needed for the post.

Preferred Qualifications 1) Experience in optical benchtop experiments, lasers, fiber optics and related. 2) Knowledge of plasmonics, nanoantenna etc. 4) Python programming background.
