A Post-doctoral position in the area of Arsenic and Fluoride Hydrogeochemistry

Applications are sought for a Post-doctoral positions in the area of Arsenic and fluoride geochemistry. Candidates with expertise and/or interest in hydrogeochemistry, water quality, isotope, health implication due to contaminated water, low cost contaminant removal from the aqueous solution, chemical speciation modelling and lab-scale contaminant transport are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate is expected to carry out research in conjunction with Dr. Manish Kumar. At the same time, it is also expected that the candidate will contribute in other academic activities of the institute. The position is for one year only and any extension will be based on the availability of funding and performance. The salary and other facilities will be in accordance to the norms of the institute. Dr. Manish Kumar is a faculty at the Earth Sciences Discipline, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IITGN), Gujarat. His research works are focused mainly in the area of hydrogeochemistry, contaminant transport and isotope fingerprinting.
