Consultant / Developer IT CPHC

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above mentioned post purely on contractual basis.

Working with a trans disciplinary team, you can discover, adapt, co-create and disseminate solutions to multiple challenges related to service delivery systems, universal primary health care, human resources for health, community processes, health financing, quality of care, public health planning and health promotion. This is an opportunity to support health systems strengthening at scale, learn from district and sub district implementation, undertake knowledge translation, and enable realization of the vision of universal health coverage.

The Consultant/ Developer shall have excellent knowledge and sound experience in developing web based applications on PHP platform. He / she shall bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable codes and libraries for future use
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Deployment of the web application at the data centre VM
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, Liaison with software developer and implementation partners.
Conducts need assessment and gap analysis with software tools.
Collection, compilation and analysis of reports from States/UTs.
Ensure updating of the portal by active coordination with States/UTs.
Preparation of operational guidelines of portal.
Preparation of routine reports of targets and achievement for circulation.
Planning of action oriented monitoring for the districts and states using various indicators and requirements.
Preparing progress report of States. Preparation of new formats and support for publication.
Technical inputs for resource document preparation.
Any other job as and when assigned.
Undertake any other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification & Experience

Essential:

Postgraduate Degree/Engineering Degree in computer applications/computer science/Information Technology with 3+ years of working experience in relevant field.
Excellent knowledge of PHP and code ignator Framework
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN / Others}} Experience of deployment of web application
Experience in development of application for deployment in data centre VM, Linux

Desirable:

Microsoft certification in Web Development
Proficient in data processing, analysing techniques.
Experience in working of software related to healthcare.

Age limit: Upto 40 years.

Remuneration: Rs. 44,000 99,000/- per month (consolidated).

Reporting Officer: Executive Director, National Health Systems Resource Centre, New Delhi.

Place of posting: New Delhi.

Tenure: 1 year with effect from the date of joining to the post, which is extendable as per rules and scheme guidelines as per preference and mutually agreed terms and conditions.

Note:

Interviews will be conducted of shortlisted candidates
The applicant should be conversant with the use of computers in word processing worksheets for data compilation, basic analysis, internet use and presentation.
The applicant should be able to tour extensively for monitoring and supervision.
Age Limit: will be counted as on Last date of receiving of applications.
The remuneration shall be fixed in the range given, depending upon qualification and experience.
Eligibility criteria may be relaxed for qualified candidates.
