Advertisement for Project Staff at the Centre for Safety Engineering
IIT Gandhinagar invites applications for 1 Project Staff position at the Centre for Safety Engineering (CSE). This Centre has been set up with the aim of promoting Inter-disciplinary Research in the area of Safety. The work involves:
Developing technical articles and material for safety and other related area
Communication with different stakeholders including industry
Managing the Conference, Workshop and facilitating centre activities
Managing routine tasks of the CSE and other related Labs
Designing various training modules
Helping ongoing and future projects at the Centre and other related labs
Preparing the project proposal, tender documents etc.
Eligibility Criteria:
-Master degree from reputed institute
-Work experience in above mentioned area
-Proven technical writing and verbal communication skills
-Strong motivation to participate in safety related research in the centre Preferred background/skills:
-Has developed Technical News Bulletins / articles.
-Work experience on Disaster Management and Emergency services
-Research experience on safety related area
Compensation and term of position:
Compensation will be 18,000 -25,000/-per month based on the education and experience (consolidated salary). Initial appointment will be for 1 year with the possibility of renewal for the 2nd year depending on performance.
