Applications are invited from bright, young candidates for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled "Atomistic insight into the structural influences of competitive post-translational modifications; Phosphorylation and O-GlcNAcylation. (BT/PR15143/BID/7/553/2015) sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, INDIA.

Minimum Qualifications:
M.Sc (Chemistry/Physics/Nano sciences/Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry) or M. Tech with 60% marks with a valid GATE score/CSIR-NET(JRF/LS)/GPAT/Biotechnology Eligibility Test qualification.
Candidates must have an aptitude towards problem solving and willingness to learn about chemical systems.
Additional preferred qualifications: Candidates with good programming background (Fortran, C/C++, python, Linux) will be preferred.
Emoluments:
Consolidated salary of Rs. 25000 pm.
Duration of the Project:
12 Months.
Job Profile:
Selected candidate will use computational techniques (Molecular dynamics simulations and Density functional calculations) for biomolecular simulations.
The initial appointment is for a period of six months and can be extended depending on satisfactory performance.
