ADVERTISEMENT FOR PA IN DST SPONSORED PROJECT

Applications are sought for support staff position for a DST sponsored project in the NaMPET Laboratory, IIT Kanpur. Details of the work and required skills/qualifications are mentioned below.

Objective of the Work:
Electrical connection, wiring, soldering, inductor coil winding, small machining, fitting, assembly and fabrication, maintenance of laboratory (project) equipment, small procurement

Post: PA ( 1 Post)

Salary range: Rs. 12,000/- (Consolidated)

Essential Qualifications
High School + ITI with minimum 3 years' experience

Duration of Appointment
1 year OR till end of project, whichever is earlier

Desirable Qualifications
At least 8 years' experience in electrical wiring, soldering of electronic circuits on PCB, coil winding of small chokes for electronic circuits, small drilling, machining and painting jobs, maintenance of laboratory equipment like inverters, PCs and oscilloscopes; working knowledge of small tools and components required in assembly of electrical and electronic equipment.
