Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Earth, Ocean and Climate Sciences of this Institute.

1. Name of the Temporary : Junior Research Fellow Assignment

2. research Project investigation of SubMesoscale Coastal Processes and its use for assimilation in the INCOIS model.
2. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS)
   
   
3. Consolidated Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/+ HRA per month
   
   
4. Qualification & Experiences : M.Sc. or M.Tech. with 1^{st class in Physics/ Mathematics/ Ocean Sciences selected through National Eligibility Test (NET)** Desirable: Working experience in MATLAB/ Python with strong background in Mathematics}
   
   
5. Period of Engagement : Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance
   
   
6. Duration of the project : 2 years
   
   

** NET Qualification:

i. CSIRUGC National Eligibility Test including NETLectureship

ii. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD

iii. Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by MHRD

iv. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST), conducted by Department of Atomic Energy
