Walk-in-Interviews will be held for the following posts on purely temporary/contractual basis for 89 days. The interested & eligible candidates are required to appear on given schedule date and time at City Campus, Central University of Punjab, Mansa Road, Bathinda

1. Executive Engineer Salary & Emoluments: Rs. 60,000/-p.m. (Consolidated)
Minimum Qualification: 1. A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale, with 10 years of experience in design and systems and construction of buildings, roads, sanitary and water supply systems including maintenance of the same Desirable: 1. Post-Graduate Degree in structural engineering. 2. Experience of working in Universities/Educational Institutions / similar organization. Age: Not Exceeding 45 years
2. Medical Officer (Male) Salary & Emoluments: Rs. 50,000/-p.m. (Consolidated)
Minimum Qualification: 1. M.B.B.S. with at least 55% marks from a recognized university and 05 years experience as Medical Officer in a residential teaching institution or a hospital of repute. Or M.D./ M.S. in any Clinical Specialty. 2. The candidate must be registered with Medical Council of India or State Council or will have to get registered before joining. Desirable: 1. Candidate with Post-graduate qualifications will be preferred. Age: Not exceeding 45 years
3. Estate Officer Salary & Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/-p.m. (Consolidated
Minimum Qualification: i. Bachelors degree. ii. Five years of experience as Assistant Estate Officer/Superintendent or equivalent in the grade pay of Rs. 2800 in any Central/State organization/University institute funded by the Govt./PSU/Educational Organization recognized by the State/Central Govt. iii. Good working knowledge of computer applications. Desirable: i. Masters degree from recognized university. ii. Experience in handling of labour w.r.t. landscaping, laboratories, repairs, security etc. iii. Multitasking experience in organizing academic, cultural, sports and other activities. iv. Proficiency in local language (speaking, reading and writing) v. Experience of handling Estate in a University or National Research Institute. Age: Not exceeding 35 years

Central University of Punjab, Bathinda

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL INFORMATION Advertisement No. CUPB/Estab./18/031 (Dated: 15 .01.2018)
  1. Candidates have to download prescribed application form from www.cup.edu.in; www.cup.ac.in and bring it complete along with all original certificates at the time of interview.

  2. The candidates are required to bring duly filled & signed Application Form along with original documents & a set of self-attested photocopies while reporting to the interview.

  3. The interested candidates should also submit three copies of the Summary Sheet alongwith prescribed application form.

  4. University will not be liable to wait in case the applicant does not bring the filled application form with supporting documents such candidates will not be allowed to appear at the interview.

  5. Duties timing may be staggered and as decided by the university.

  6. The university reserves the right to withdraw this advertisement or increase the number of post at any time without assigning any reason.

  7. The right is also reserved with the university either to fill or not to fill the post. The decision of in this regard shall be final by the Competent Authority of the university.

  8. Application fee of Rs. 100/-in the form of Demand Draft in the favour of Central University of Punjab, payable at Bathinda should accompany the application. The SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from application fee.

  9. Application fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances. Before applying for the post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility.

  10. Upper age limit, qualification and experience etc. will be counted as on the date of walk-ininterview

  11. The candidates having experience of working in Central/State Government universities will be preferred.

  12. The candidates will not have any claim on regular position/absorption.

  13. Canvassing in any form may lead to cancellation of candidature.

  14. Incomplete applications or without relevant supporting enclosures (self attested copies of degree/certificates /marks sheets/experience certificate, etc.) will be out-rightly rejected.

  15. In case of disputes/suites or legal proceedings against the university, the Jurisdiction shall be confined to the Court of Bathinda or Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh only.

  16. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interaction/interview for the post.
