Interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview for the following positions under the ICSSR sponsored Research Programme entitled Impact of Government Health Schemes on Tribal Womens Health & Health Seeking Behaviour in Assam at the Department of Sociology, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam.

1. Research Assistant (1 post)

Qualifications : M.A in Humanities or Social Sciences (securing a minimum of 55% in PG) with NET / M. Phil. / Ph.D. Preference will be given to the candidates from the disciplines of Sociology / Anthropology / Social Work.

Remuneration : 15,000/- pm

Term of the post : 1 (one) year

2. Field Investigator (2 posts)

Qualifications : M.A in Humanities or Social Sciences (securing a minimum of 55% in PG)

Remuneration : 12,000/- pm

Term of the post : 6 (six) Months

Date of Interview : 11th June, 2018 (Monday)

Venue : Department of Sociology, Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam.

Time : 11:00 AM

Preference will be given to the candidates who have previous experience on research, field investigation and survey. The candidates are requested to bring all the testimonials in original along with an updated CV to the interview. Both the positions are purely temporary and the candidates are not entitled to seek permanency at the Department on the basis of service. No TA/DA shall be paid to attend the interview.
