Walk-in Interview is scheduled for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF)inDepartment of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India funded research project- Exploration of Microbial Diversity in Fermented Foods ofNorth-East India and Isolation of Novel Probiotics with Potential of Commercialization under the DBTs programme- Foldscope as a research tool.

Interested candidates may attend the interview on the date and venue mentioned below. The candidates are instructed to bring their documents in original for the purpose.

Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualification :M.Sc. Biotechnology orM.Sc. Life Sciences.

Fellowship :Rs. 25000 (As per DBT Norms).

Project duration : The total duration of the project is Oneyear. However, initial appointment will be for six months, which may be extended for another six months based on performance.
