RECRUITMENT OF FELLOWS UNDER DST-PURSE- PHASE-II

The University is going to recruit four Research Fellows in various Science & Engineering subjects under DST-GOI funded PURSE- II Project. A walk-in interview will be held in the office of the Head of the Departments and Director of the School at Jadavpur University on 2nd June, 2017 at 12:00 noon for the following posts to the department/schools under the supervision of Head of the Department and Director of the School.

Details of Interview as mentioned below:

Essential Qualification (a) JRF: M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech. degree in the respective subject with 55% marks and NET/ GATE/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

(b) PURSE Felow: M.Sc or B.E./B.Tech. degree in the respective subject with 55% marks/NET (LS); for Architecture department B.E./B.Tech. degree in any Engineering subject with 55% marks.

Fellowship: Rs.25,000/-P.M.(HRA as admissible) for NET/ GATE/ PG(professional) candidates Rs.21,700/-P.M. (HRA as admissible) for Non-NET candidates and NET (LS)

Age:

28 years (relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women & Differently Abled candidates and other exception cases)

Interested candidates may appear in person directly in the interview with application on prescribed form (Price Rs.50/-)to be obtained from the Information Section of this University. Original as well as attested copies of Certificates, Mark Sheets and Testimonials are to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
