Important Information:

1. The total number of positions are 40 approx. These vacancies are tentative only.
   
   
2. Onthebasisoftheperformance ininterviewapanelwillbemadeforeachoftheAreai.e.CPS,SS,MWD. Thenumberofempanelledcandidates mayvaryfromthenumberofpositions.
   
   
3. The candidates from this panel will be offered the position as per the suitability & requirement of the projects. Hence, it may possible that all the empanelled candidates may not get an offer, since it depends on their suitability & requirements oftheprojects only.
   
   
4. The panel will be valid upto next requirement drive of project staff.
   
   
5. The short description of the present projects and application Proforma will be uploaded soon. The number ofprojects maybeincreased incaseofcommencement ofnewprojects.
   
   

Benefits:

Registration for Ph.D.: The facility for Ph.D. registration shall be allowed to those Project Staff who haveworked for a minimum period oftwo year and have at least cleared CSIR-UGCLecture Ship (NET) orGATEexamination or published 01papers in internationalpeer reviewed lSI indexedjournals.
   
   
2. ProjectStaffwillbeprovidedOPDMedicalfacilitiesthroughCSIR-CEERIdispensaryforselfonly.
   
   
3. Leave: Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave as per the existing rule (12 days leave in a year). However, in extra-ordinary circumstances Principal Investigator of the Project and! or Director of the laboratorymayprovide relaxation intherules consideringthe exigency.
   
   
4. ProjectStaffwillbeentitledforTAIDA asper eligibilitywhile onofficial tour.
   
   

Instructions:

1. The candidates who have already served CSIR-CEERI or any other lab/ institute of CSIR as any Project Assistant/ Project Fellow/ JRF (in contract R&D projects)/ SRF (in contract R&D projects)/ Research Associateetc. for a total period of 5years ormore arenot eligible forthese engagements. The candidateswho have served for aperiod lessthan 5years will havetenure uptoremaining period till completion offiveyears.
   
   
2. Tenureofengagement:Sixmonthsinitiallyorco-terminuswiththepresentprojectortillsuchtimethejobto be performed by Project Staff in the project exists, whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended in steps of six months for the duration of Project based on satisfactory performance. The total tenure as Project Assistant-IIII11,JRF/SRFandJPF/SPFshallnotexceed5yearsinanycase.Thetotaltenureoffiveyears shall be calculated as per periods spent on one Project and! or different Projects taken together in CSIRCEERI,Pilaniand!oranyotherLab.!Instt.ofCSIRasProjectAssistant LevelIIIIIIII(formerlyknownas ProjectAssistant/Project Fellow/Senior ProjectFellow)or as anyother designation of equalstatus.
   
   

1. Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates may be given preference over General candidates so as to ensure their representation.
   
   
2. The engagement of Project Scientist (Range-01 1), Research Associate-llII, Project Assistant -IIII1l, JRFI SRF and SPF will be made on behalf of the Sponsor of the Projects. These are not CSIR-CEERIlCSIR posts and will not confer any right on the incumbent to claim, implicit or explicit, on any post in CSIRCEERIICSIR.
   
   
3. Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women shall be 5 years.
   
   
4. Candidates appearing! have appeared for final semester exam may also apply, however they have to submit supporting documents regarding completion of all the formalities upto previous semesters at the time of interview.
   
   
5. In case a large number of candidates tum up for Walk-in-interview, Selection/Screening Committee will have discretion to shortlist the candidates for interview based on written examination or percentage of marks.
   
   
6. CSIR-CEERI reserve the right to cancel or withdraw the award in case of any discrepancy found, in the candidature of any empanelled candidate at any stage.
   
   
7. Other terms & conditions will be governed as per guidelines issued by the funding agency/CSIR Hqrs. for the engagement of above Project Staff as amended from time to time.
   
   

Candidate who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria on the date of interview may appear for "Walk-inInterview" at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani as under, with hislher Bio-data in the prescribed proforma, alongwith original documents of qualifications semester-wise/year-wise, experience, date of birth and community certificate, if any (not older than 06 months in case of OBC) with one set of attested copies thereof.
