Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Position as per the details given below, for consultancy / research projects, under the Project Investigator Dr. G. Saravana Ilango, Associate Professor, Department of Electricaland ElectronicsEngineering,National InstituteofTechnology, Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.

1.	Title of the Project	Fault detection and estimation of degradation in photovoltaic systems
2.	Funding Agency for the Project specimen	Ministry of electronics and information Technology (MeiTy), GOI
3.	Project Positions and Number	Research Fellow -01
4.	Qualifications	B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Power Electronics/Power Systems with minimum of 70% in both UG and PG from recognized University/ Institute. Preferably age should be less than 30 years.
5.	Emoluments	INR 25,000/-per month for 15 months It may be further extended with revised scholarship based on the performance of candidate and availability of fund.
6.	Duration	15 months.
7.	Job Description	1. Study and design of photovoltaic system. 2. Purchase of equipments and components for the project. 3. Evaluate and analyze the system. 4.The candidate selected as Research Fellow is eligible to register for pursuing Ph.D. programme as per NITT rules and regulations after fulfilling requirements of Ph.D. programme.

A. Candidates before appearing for the Interview, shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intendtoapply.

B. Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their application with all necessary documents to the Project Investigator through registered/speed post with RF-MeiTy mentioned in the Post. E. The interview will be held in EEE Department, NIT Tiruchirappalli for the shortlisted candidates intimatedthrough e-mail.
