Under National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA), it is proposed to fill up temporary positions of Research Associate and Young Professional II through walk in interview on 28.12.2018 for a period of one year (upto 31 March 2019), extendable subject to continuation of projects and budget availability. The name and number of positions, essential and desirable qualifications are given in the table below. |

Research Associate (RA) (One Position) (Purely contractual up to March 31 2020) |
(i) Ph.D. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Agricultural Statistics/Agricultural Entomology OR (ii) Post graduation (M.Sc.,/M Tech. etc.,) in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Agricultural Statistics/Agricultural Entomology with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements OR (iii) 3 years Bachelor's degree (B.Sc., .BCA etc) with 3 years professional Master's degree like MCA & M Tech etc., equivalent qualifications & having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average & with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/other engagements OR (iv) Candidates having Masters degree in Basic Sciences (above relevant subjects) and have qualified NET and have at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/other engagements |
Experience in data organization and proficiency in use of statistical softwares like R/SAS. Working knowledge with pest surveillance database Experience in development of android applications Published work, if any |

Young Professional-II (YP II) (One Position) (Purely contractual up to March 31 2020) |
Masters in Plant Pathology/Agricultural Entomology/Computer Application/Statistics/Agricultural Statistics |
Bachelors degree in agriculture and life sciences; data organization, and proficiency in computer operations/ handling statistical software package. |

Remuneration for RA with Ph.D (i): Rs. 40,000/ month + 30%HRA; RA with Master Degree Rs.38000/=+ 30% HRA; YP II : Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated). |
Terms and Conditions:
- 1. Age limit for Research Associate is 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women YP II is 21-45 years on the date of interview
- 2. The positions are purely temporary and co terminus with the project. The selected candidate(s) have no claim for regular appointment(s) after expiry of the Project at NCIPM/ICAR.
- 3. Eligible candidates may report for walk in interview between 10.30 - 11 Hrs at ICAR-NCIPM, LBS Building, New Delhi. Candidates reporting beyond 11.30 AM will not be entertained.
- 4. Candidates appearing for interview should compulsorily bring filled in application as per format annexed with the recent passport sized photograph and set of self-attested copies of certificates related to qualifications/age/experience etc.
- 5. Original Certificates of age proof, educational qualifications (from 10th class onwards), and documents in support of essential, and desirable qualifications / experience should be presented for verification on day of interview.
- 6. Candidate fulfilling the essential qualifications only need to attend the Walk in Interview.
- 7. Concealing of facts and canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification
- 8. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
