The Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies (CIHCS), Dahung invites applications from eligible candidates for the following post:

Terms & Conditions:

1. Candidate must be capable of translation works from Bhoti to English/Hindi/Sanskrit and viceversa and be able to act as an interpreter.
   
   
2. Relaxation in age limit shall be applicable to the candidates of the reserved category as per the existing rules of Government of India.
   
   
3. Candidates already employed should apply through proper channel. They will be required to produce a 'No Objection Certificate' from their employer at the time of interview.
   
   
4. Age as prescribed shall be as on 1.1.2015
   
   
5. Since the applications will be short-listed, mere possessing of the essential minimum qualification would not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
   
   
6. The period of probation for the post shall normally be two years.
   
   
7. The duly filled up application in the prescribed format (given at Appendix 'A' to this advertisement) along with application processing fee, two recent passport size photographs, copies of matriculation/SSLC/Degree/Certificate (s), Mark-sheets of all the examinations passed, work experience certificates, testimonials etc. should reach by registered/speed post to the Director, Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies, P.O. Tenga Valley, West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh-790116 within one month from the date of advertisement.
   
   
8. The application processing fee would be Rs.200/-for General/OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates, Rs.150/-for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and Rs.50/-for SC & ST candidates. Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of application processing fee. The application processing is required to be submitted in the form of Demand Draft in favour of CIHCS, Dahung payable at SBI, Tenga Valley Branch only.
   
   
9. Name of the post applied for should be superscribed on the top of the envelope containing the duly filled up application form.
   
   
10. Incomplete applications/applications not made in prescribed format/applications without processing fee/application without relevant documents/applications received after the due date are liable to be summarily rejected.
    
    
11. The CIHCS reserves the right to: (a) conduct written/technical test for the post for which it feels to conduct such test; (b) not to fill the advertised position.
