The IITM is an autonomous premier research institute under Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. The Institute is currently looking for recruiting Project Assistant (1 post) purely on temporary and short term contract basis initially for a period of one year and later extendable depending on performance for WiFEX Project.

Essential Qualification:

1. M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Physics / Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences subject from recognized University / Institute with at least 60% marks.

2. Basic knowledge of Atmospheric Instruments and data acquisition.

Desirable Qualification:

1. Candidate should be ready to work in field campaign anywhere in India.

2. Knowledge of computer and data management.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in field campaign, data collection, calibration and upkeep of Instruments, data analysis etc.

Salary: ( Rs. 22,000/- p.m. consolidated)
